Biking
Jizera Mountains offer a wide range of possibilities for biking, from children up to keen bikers. The surface of the trails is asphalt or campacted granite gravel. Mountain bikes or track bikes are a good choice for these mountains. The main trails go through the village Bedrichov and can continue to other trails in Cesky raj(Czech paradise) and Lužické hory. Our Hotel provides all comfort for bikers and offers a depository too. Bike rent and service are found in Bedrichov.

Hiking
Jizera Mountains are just the place for hiking. Half day or all day you will definately pass some interesting place or an attractive touristic landmark. All hiking tracks are perfectly marked.

Cross-country skiing
Jizerska „magistrala“ starts within walking distance of our Hotel. More than 100 km of skiing trails, both for skiing and skating, are prepared every day over the winter season. Hotel offers a depository for skis or you can rent winter equipment in Bedrichov - www.jizerskaops.cz.

Down-hill skiing and snowboarding
Skiing lift opposite the Hotel belongs to Malinovka skiing resort. This piste is mostly designed for children and beginners. Ski resort Malinovka consists of 8 lifts and 6 km of skiing pistes with night skiing. Skischool for children is 400m from the Hotel. You can also visit other ski resorts such as Severak with 10 lifts (4km), Tanvaldský Špičák with a 4-seat lift (7km). Bigger skiing centers are easily reachable by car: Ještěd (10km), Rokytnice nad Jizerou and Harrachov (20km). Ski depository is available in the Hotel. Ski rent and service are in Bedrichov.

    (2km from the Hotel, runs all year, also for children)

    (May to October 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
  • Swimming pools Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou
    ((Easily reachable by car approx.15 min from the Hotel, www.bazen-info.cz, www.bazenjbc.cz)
  • Horse riding
    (You can try horse-riding on Prezidentska chata or on a farm Vyšehrad in Janov nad Nisou)
  • Natural swimming lakes
    (There are several swimming lakes with pure natural, non toxic water one is in Bedrichov the other in Jablonec nad Nisou)
  • Inline skating track
    (It´s located not far from water reservoir Souš, www.inline-online.cz)

Tips for Trips

Bedřichov is the starting point for many interesting trips to Jizera Mountains. You can try a peak tour or you can enjoy the long valleys with lakes and torrents. On your trips you cannot miss the fascinating view from one of the view-towers. Jizera Mountains are nice in every season. Winter is the eden for skiers and if you visit us in the summer you can choose from many different routes for biking or trails for hiking and than you can relax by some natural lake.

Bad weather is ideal for visiting galleries and /or museums, with interesting information about the country side of Jizerske Mountains, the history and also about glass manufacture the traditional craft in this area.
